CEO Biography – Mr. Robert Essuon
Mr. Robert Essuon is a seasoned mining and industrial professional whose journey is deeply rooted in Tarkwa — Ghana’s historic Gold City. Raised in a community shaped by mining, he developed an early appreciation for the industry that would later define his career.
He began his academic path at Tarkwa D/C Junior High School, where his foundational interest in technical work was formed. Determined to build practical expertise, he furthered his education at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), earning a Certificate in Plant Maintenance—a qualification that laid the groundwork for his hands-on, solutions-driven approach to mining operations.
Mr. Essuon’s professional career spans over 20 years across some of Africa’s most demanding mining environments. He has held key technical and supervisory roles with leading mining and industrial organizations, including AngloGold Ashanti (Iduapriem Mine), Asanko Gold Mine Ghana as a Belt Supervisor, and Rema Tiptop Ghana, where he served as Head of Technical Services.
His expertise extends beyond Ghana. He worked with Auseco Minerals and African Minerals (AML) in Sierra Leone as a belt expert and belt supervisor, respectively. His continental experience also includes roles with IAMGOLD in Burkina Faso as a Conveyor Technical Expert, and Newcrest Gold Mine in Côte d’Ivoire, where he served as Belt Supervisor.
Through decades of hands-on field experience, Mr. Essuon has developed a reputation for technical excellence, safety leadership, and operational efficiency, particularly in conveyor systems, belt installation, splicing, and industrial maintenance.
In 2024, driven by a vision to deliver world-class industrial services rooted in African expertise, he founded Reggeerr Ltd. His leadership philosophy centers on precision, safety, innovation, and reliability, with a strong commitment to international best practices and sustainable operations.
Today, Mr. Essuon leads Reggeerr Ltd. with a mission to empower mining and industrial operations across Africa—proving that excellence built from local knowledge can compete at a global standard.
